A Scroll-Following CTA, No Code Required
Maybe you want a “Add us on LINE” button, or a “Contact us” prompt that follows visitors down the page on every screen of your site.
On most WordPress themes, that means installing a dedicated plugin, or editing theme files directly.
Utopia includes a built-in “Floating Widget” settings screen made for exactly this job.
From the admin menu, go to “Utopia” then “Floating Widget,” and set it up in a few clicks. No extra plugin required.
Three Widget Types to Choose From
The Floating Widget screen lets you pick from three formats.
Image / Banner
Upload an image and you’re done. A transparent PNG at 200×200px is recommended, and it works well for logos or character graphics that need to stand out.
Text Button
Set a label plus a background color and text color for a simple CTA button. You can add an emoji icon too, so there’s no need to prepare an image at all.
Custom HTML
Paste in any HTML, including a LINE official account badge code or an iframe. This is handy when you want to use an embed code supplied by an external service.
Full Control Over Position, Size, and Animation
Beyond the widget type, several settings let you fine-tune how the widget appears.
Position can be set to bottom right, bottom left, bottom center, top right, or top left.
Size comes in three steps: small at 80px, medium at 120px, or large at 160px.
Animation can be set to none, bounce, or pulse, which helps catch a first-time visitor’s eye.
Run Two Widgets at Once
Utopia lets you enable up to two floating widgets at the same time.
For example, you could set Widget 1 to a LINE registration button and Widget 2 to a contact button, placing one at bottom right and the other at bottom left.
That flexibility means you can run a single focused CTA, or two different ones side by side, depending on what the site needs.
Visitor-Friendly Details Are Built In
An element that stays on screen at all times is useful, but it can also feel intrusive to visitors.
Turning on “Show close button” lets visitors dismiss the widget, and once closed it stays hidden until their next session.
Enabling “Hide on mobile” removes the widget on screens narrower than 768px. That helps avoid overlapping content or accidental taps on small screens.
Start With One Widget
The Floating Widget feature covers LINE sign-ups, contact prompts, campaign announcements, and more, all without an extra plugin.
Open “Utopia” then “Floating Widget” in the admin menu, enable Widget 1, and try the text button type first.
Just switching the position or animation is often enough to see how it changes the feel of the page, and how visitors respond.
